X-Factor Israel grand winner Rose Fostanes admitted that she feels sentimental whenever she comes back to the Philippines. “Natutuwa po ako at nalulungkot kasi dapat dadatnan ko po ang nanay ko at makikita niya po kung ano na ang nangyayari sa akin ngayon, kasi wala na po kasi siya eh, ‘yun po ang isa sa malungkot,” the singer shared during the launching of her first album under Star Records titled Rose Fostanes: My Way.

Marami pong nagpapa-picture ‘yan isa po ‘yan sa mga natutuwa ako,” she said.

Rose has been joining singing competitions since she was six years old until she decided to leave the country to work overseas. “Since I was six years old po kumakanta na ako sa mga singing contests. Minsan nananalo, minsan hindi po, kaya nong nag-abroad po ako, bale 21 years na po ako sa abroad and then seven years po ako sa Israel.”

Among the many singers in the country, Rose relayed that her favorite artists is a Filipina international singer like her. “Pagdating po sa panonood po ng TV halos hindi ko na po magawa dahil trabaho po talaga 'yung nandon po sa Israel eh, pero gusto ko pong singer, isa lang po ‘yan, si Charice, ‘yan gusto ko po siya dahil magaling po talaga siyang singer at tsaka na subaybayan ko po kung papaano siya nakilala kaya isa po ‘yan sa mga hinahangaan ko,” she said.

After releasing her debut album in the country, Rose is set to fly back to Israel. “Siyempre po gusto ko po rin dito, kasi po mga Pilipino po at mga kababayan ko po kayo, pero kailangan ko po munang tapusin ‘yung contract ko under Aroma Music (her music label in Israel) for three years po,” Rose shared.
