Jessy Mendiola says that her newest movie project under Chito Rono will be a big surprise to her fans.
Currently working on her newest movie project, Jessy Mendiola admitted she faces her biggest acting challenge yet as she works with co-star John Lloyd Cruz and director Chito Rono. Jessy said the yet-untitled film has undergone some changes since the original version late last year.
“Actually mag-sa-start kami ulit this month kasi medyo naantala, nag-revise ng script so mas pinaganda nila, mas gusto nila na mas pag-aralan yung script kasi very different siya from other films eh. Thriller romance suspense, ganun siya,” she shared.
The 21-year-old actress said she feels honored to get the chance to work with one of the country's top leading men, but was intimidated when they first shot scenes for the movie. Sobrang kabado ako nung first day ko halos mamawis mawis yung kili-kili ko lagi,” she admitted.
Jessy admitted that she is always trying to get better with each acting project and hopes she can get considered for an award someday. Sana,” she said.
Even though she reportedly had suitors in Sam Milby, Jake Cuenca, and the Teng brothers, Jessy said she is most happy with her new Colombian friend Sebastian Gasca whom she recently met in Boracay and got to spend time with in Jeju isalnd in Korea. I want to get to know him more and in the matters of love life meron akong wall, medyo hindi ako ready. I’m not saying that now I’m ready, it’s just the fact that I’ve met someone like him and he said that he met someone like me despite yung buong year na nag-ta-travel siya kami daw yung tumatak sa kanya and that really means something. Akalain niyo naman, foreigner ma-e-enganyong kausapin ako. And type ko mga dark kaya nung magkausap kami, sabi ko, ‘How old are you?” tapos sabi niya 19 so inisip ko, ‘My gosh, he’s so young.’ I’m turning 22 this year so three years. Konti lang naman pero mature siya for his age and siguro dun muna ako sa feeling na masaya,” she said.
Jessy said she is not disappointed with the guys who were once vocal about their intentions for her, but never really ended up in a relationship. Siguro it just didn’t work out, ganun ka-simple. There are things that will work out and there are things that don’t so I guess nandun tayo dun sa hindi nag-work out. But we still talk to each other and Jake is very happy sa love life and Sam is okay. Nakakasama ko pa sila sa shows,” she added.
