US band Before You Exit to their Filipino fans: ‘You never fail to amaze us’

052014-beforeyouexit_main.jpgAmerican pop-rock band Before You Exit members Connor McDonough,  Riley McDonough and Toby McDonough were in the Philippines for their Dangerous Tour concert last May 17. The band visited the country last year and said that they were happy to be performing again for their Filipino fans. In an exclusive interview with Push.com.ph before their concert, the band relayed that their trip to the country has truly been great.

“It's been awesome so far. We're having a great time. We're here just for three days unfortunately. It's been very hot but it's been an amazing trip,” band member Connor said.

When asked to describe their Filipino fans, Connor quickly responded, “They are amazing.” “We love our fans here,” Riley added.

For the band, it still seemed surreal for them that their songs have reached people on a global scale. They said that they are happy that Filipinos love their songs. “It's crazy that it came all the way across the world and see our fans singing our songs and knowing who we are,” Toby said.

Connor added, “The coolest part is when we were at home and record the songs and coming all the way across the world and people singing our songs, it's unreal to us.”

Connor further shared that the band is currently working on an album right now after releasing an EP (Extended Play) last year. “We've just been talking about a bunch of new songs that we're working on and trying to pick our favorite ones and literally like five minutes ago, we were talking about a bunch of new songs and trying to pick the best ones and the ones that stand out, to us and the ones that we like to sing the most,” he revealed.

The band is thankful for the massive support they have been receiving from their Filipino fans. “Thank you for all your support all the way across the world you guys are amazing and you never fail to amaze us. We love you so much,” Riley said.
