April couldn't have gone any better for WBO Welterweight champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao as he welcomed baby Israel, his fifth child with wife Jinkee Pacquiao. The Sarangani vice governor gave birth to a baby boy via Caesarian section in General Santos City on April 27.
"Ito ang talagang hindi mapantayang blessing," Pacman said in a taped interview aired on TV Patrol on April 28.
The boxing icon was by his wife's side during the entire delivery process and took several photos of baby Israel while inside the nursery and shared them on his Facebook account.
Although he was born two weeks premature, the report said that baby Israel is healthy. However, he would probably need to stay in the hospital's nursery section for two more weeks, the report added.
Since it's her first delivery via Caesarian section, Jinkee for her part, was advised by her doctor to stay in the hospital for two more days before she going home.
The boxer-politician couldn't be any happier to have been beside his wife during her delivery. "Ito, si Princess at si Queenie [palang ang nandito ako nung pinanganak].'Yung dalawa kasi nasa abroad ako eh," he related.
Just two weeks ago, the pound-for-pound boxer once again brought pride to the country as he reclaimed the WBO Welterweight belt by defeating American boxer Timothy Bradley Jr. via unanimous decision during their bout in Las Vegas.
