She explained, “Kapag nakikita mong nagri-reach ng milestone ang kaibigan mo in her personal life, you can only be happy for her.”
Since her relationship with director Paul Soriano has been going on for almost seven years while Bianca and JC have been together for only three, many believe that Toni is already ripe for the married life.
However, Toni seemed to think otherwise, saying that, "Hindi naman kasi ako yung, bata pa lang, ang biggest dream na is to get engaged, to be married. Kasi, alam ko talaga na darating talaga sa panahon ng isang babae na magse-settle down, magpapakasal. [Pero] hindi talaga siya yung biggest goal ko.”
The Home Sweetie Home star claimed though that she envisions married life as something that is part of her future. "I know that one day, I will be a mom, I will be a wife. [But] not yet now siguro,” she said.
But what’s important as of the moment is that her friend is set to be married soon. “This is for Bianca. I want to give this to her. This is her year, this is her moment, let’s give it to her,” the said star said, adding that, “Lagi ko ngang sinasabi sa kanya na no one can steal the thunder from her.”
Has the Paul proposed to her? “Wala pa talaga. Hindi ko naman talaga siya nira-rush,” she said.
The reason why she remains calm despite persistent prodding that she get married is because she’s still “okay” in the sense that, “Sabi ko naman sa kanya, okay pa naman ako. Kapag wala na ako sa kalendaryo, parang kakabahan na ako nun.”
Right now, she’s just really happy with the opportunities that are coming her way, the most latest of which was her return as host for the upcoming Pinoy Big Brother All In season which is set to air on April 27.
“It’s God’s will. God’s timing is always perfect, na-realize ko ‘yan all these years. His timing is always perfect, so I don’t want to rush things. He’s never late,” she ended.
