If it were up to Pinoy Big Brother hosts Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez, they would love to once again share the stage with their friend and former co-host Mariel Rodriguez. "Ako I would love to kasi lagi kong kausap si Mariel about the possibility of her coming back," shared newly-engaged host Bianca at the Pinoy Big Brother All In press conference held at La Chandelle Events Place on April 23.
The same goes for Toni as she underscored, "Ako I'm very open to the possibility talaga. Anything can happen especially na empleyado lang po talaga kami ng ABS-CBN."
Without confirming or denying if the rumors were true, the two reiterated that inasmuch as they want Mariel's return to happen, the decision, as they say, won't come from any of them. "Siyempre 'yung gusto namin hindi naman 'yun ang masusunod kasi andaming layers of consideration hanggang sa kataas-taasan ng mga bosses. Siyempre the management will know this," Bianca said.
The Home Sweetie Home star even added that they actually have no say as to who will be part of certain programs including PBB. "We're actually [just] grateful na for the ninth year of Pinoy Big Brother eh napagkakatiwalaan kami together with other new hosts. Tsaka every season talaga I'm just really grateful na kami parin ang magkakasama. 'Yun din nakadepende rin kami sa desisyon ng management namin," she said.
But will it be fine for her should “Kuya's angels” be complete again? "Of course, of course she will always be family. No one can ever take her place," Toni blurted out.
In the past, Toni along with KC Concepcion had a rift with Mariel back in 2010 purportedly after the wife of action star Robin Padilla said hurtful words pertaining to director Paul Soriano's longtime girlfriend.
A year later, Mariel left ABS-CBN to be part of a rival network to work with former Kapamilya host Willie Revillame
This coming 11th season of PBB will see the most exciting twist ever as it is set to combine both the teens and adults in one home, a first in the entire history of the show from all its franchise over the globe.
PBB's creative manager Marcus Venuyo explained how the decision for PBB All In came about. "'Yung decision po na maging All In is parang kasi 10 editions na ang nagawa ng PBB so we're looking at that one element na hindi pa natin talaga nagagawa and 'yun nga we consulted with Endemol and we told them na pinaghalo namin ang teens and adults and they're very excited since it's the first in the world na gagawin ito."
He added, "Ang ganda nga ng dynamics na makita mo ang teenagers tsaka adults kasi typically naman sa isang bahay ng Pilipino merong bata, merong matanda and 'yun ang iha-highlight namin ngayong season na ito."
An all-in package of exciting new experiences, twists, and surprises is set to engage viewers with the much-anticipated comeback of the phenomenal reality show this Sunday, April 27.
It will be hosted by Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, John Prats, Robi Domingo, and Alex Gonzaga.
