After getting into shape, picking out the right swimsuit for your body type is next. According to the April issue of Metro magazine, their Swimsuit Special, finding the perfect bikini is all about knowing which style can complement your body the most.

Size Up
Swimsuits tend to run small and a tight suit will make you look heavier so go for a dress size bigger.

Go for Separates
Only a few bodies are perfectly proportionate so it's okay to opt for separates when shopping for a two-piece.

Top Test
A comfortable fit means nothing is bulging out or digging in. Try leaning over to make sure you’re not spilling out of your suit.

Check the Rear View
A good bottom will not sag and should not dig into your skin. More importantly, there should be no pulling in the crotch area.
