BB Gandanghari wants to become a personal fitness trainer

042414-BB_Main.jpgAside from gearing up for an action film with his older brother Robin, BB Gandanghari said he is keeping himself busy by focusing on promoting good health through exercise with his uniquely designed fitness program called Privates with BB. “I actually teach now ng isang fitness program. So I do it in the morning kasi it's private I can only accommodate so many people, in fact two people lang ngayon and then I do it three times a week. Very limited yung time na puwede ko ibigay sa endeavor na yun,” he shared.

BB is currently conducting one-on-one lessons with his sister-in-law Mariel Rodriguez. “Kasi I've been doing fitness for the longest time and nag-aral ako ng yoga sa America and now I've formulated these private sessions na naka-design dun sa body type ng kliyente. Yun ang ginagawa ko kay Mariel. The program when I have a client is a three times a week program. It's a whole body regimen. As much as possible, inaano ko yung routine sa kliyente. So kami ni Mariel we train thrice a week. Sinasabi ko kasi sa kanya na I have this session and I think it's very effective. Sabi niya she wants to try it so sabi ko sa kanya, 'You want to come? Then come try it one time for me and then you decide after if you want to continue.' Hindi na siya bumitaw after. Her body is improving, her coordination is improving, everything eh. So kaya she's very inspired. Pati si Robin sinasabi sume-sexy daw yung asawa niya,” he revealed.

The 47-year-old actor-turned-fitness instructor said he thinks he has found his true calling in this new endeavor. “I think my fitness program or fitness in itself is a passion for me as much as I do it for myself. So masarap gawin ito but at the same time nag-e-enjoy din ako sa pag-a-artista eh so balance of both worlds. I've been in fitness for more than ten years already. Nine years ago, 2005 I decided to change my lifestyle. Then I started running, I started doing yoga and so eto yung resulta. So I thought, 'Bakit hindi ko ituro yung natutunan ko? Baka may matulungan din akong ibang tao.' And at 47 I think that I'm fit enough at least magturo para mang-inspire ng ibang tao,” he explained.
