While she recognizes the fact that she can’t keep her kids from doing what they really want, the Buzz ng Bayan host, in recent interview at Breeze’s #SigeSabado movement, shared that she only allows them to be active in showbiz during school breaks.

“You know, very vocal naman kasi ako na ayaw ko sana. Puwede lang ang commercials. Pero since it’s summer, okay lang naman mag-guesting, mga ganyan. Pero 'yung sasabihin mong artista talaga na full-time, parang teka muna,” she said hesitantly.

Carmina related that she has repeatedly relayed her sole condition before the twins can even finally join showbiz fulltime. “Mag-aaral muna sila. But my kids kasi, they are also vocal na gusto din nila mag-artista. My daughter, si Cassy, lagi niya sinasabi ‘Mom, I want to be like you. When I grow up, I want to host, to act, to dance and sing.’ Mga ganun. Pero mag-aral muna sila,” she said. The twins are now 13-years old.

Meanwhile, with the Holy Week break, Carmina shared that she’s finally having much-needed time for some rest and relaxation with her family. “We’re going to Tokyo. Favorite ko talaga ang Japan. I think it’s because of the cherry blossoms dahil siguro nakita niyo naman ang wedding ko di ba, may cherry blossoms. Ayun, bibisita lang kami doon for a week,” the Buzz ng Bayan host shared.

Will she be part of a new soap soon? “Another telerserye, abangan nila kasi meron pero nasa planning stage pa lahat. I’m just waiting and enjoying the summer with the kids,” the Breeze’s Sige Sabado advocate Said.
