Vhong Navarro views DOJ dismissal as the ‘beginning’

041314-vhong_main1.jpgDespite the recent and much-celebrated dismissal of the rape complaint of Deniece Cornejo by the Department of Justice, host-actor Vhong Navarro is very well aware that this is just the beginning of what could be a long legal journey for him.

“Alam ko paumpisa palang. Haharapin namin kung ano po ang pupwede pang mangyari basta patuloy akong nagdadasal na sana matapos ng maaga at makayanan ko lahat kasama ang aking mga pamilya, mga anak, especially si Tanya,” said Navarro during his live appearance on the Sunday episode of Buzz ng Bayan.

The cases were filed before the Taguig City Regional Trial Court.

However, despite these advancements in his cases the It’s Showtime host is still facing two rape complaints which somehow confirms that the battle is far from over, and according to him he has learned a lot from the experience as early as now.

Dahil sa panahong 'yun, hanggang ngayon, siya pa rin ang kasama ko at umiintindi sa akin at binigyan pa niya ako ng pagkakataon ulit,” shared the embattled star about the number one lesson that he learned after being beaten black and blue last January.

The second chance he got from his longtime girlfriend Tanya Bautista hadn’t really been that blissful in the beginning as many presumed it to be.

Apart from learning from what he experienced, the Da Possessed star also added that it has changed his perspective a lot.

Medyo nawala sa akin 'yun, 'yung pagtitiwala,” he said.

Nevertheless, Navarro is grateful that the incident allowed him to realize who his true friends are.
