Carmina Villaroel says she was impressed working with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla
041014-carmina_main.jpgAfter her role on the hit series Got to Believe, Carmina Villaroel admitted she had an enjoyable experience working with two of the Kapamilya network's hottest teen stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. “Ang saya kasi masaya siya kasama. Masaya kasama si Daniel so parang he's really like a son to me. He's my inaanak kasi. He's very humble, he's very professional kahit sabihin mong puyat puyat na from all his other commitments, pag nasa taping kami talagang naka-focus siya sa trabaho,” she shared during her presscon as Ascof Lagundi cough syrup's celebrity endorser.

Carmina was also seen attending Kathryn's debut held last March 30 at The Blue Leaf pavilion in Taguig. She said Kathryn looks like a mature young lady already. “Sana maging reading ready na siya, kasi nakikita ko naman na nag-transform talaga siya into a beautiful young lady so I'm so happy for her kasi she's a very nice girl. So lahat ng blessings na nakukuha niya talaga dini-deserve niya,” she said.

During their days on the set of Got To Believe, Carmina said she did not give advice but just lightly mentored her younger co-stars. “Actually more of sa pagtratrabaho lang, yung work etiquette, to be professional, to be pleasant lang to other people, yung working relationship mo with other people, mostly mga ganun lang,” she admitted.

Now that she is currently busy with the weekend showbiz talk show Buzz ng Bayan as well as co-hosting on Kris TV every so often, Carmina said she is still close with her G2B family. “Sa ngayon hindi masyado kami nagkikita kita pero siguro pag may time naman mag-ge-get together kami,” she added.

Now that her twins Mavy and Cassy are in their teens, Carmina said balancing family time is more important than ever. “Kailangan kasi ganun eh, kahit may trabaho ka you have to know your priorities so obviously ang priority ko talaga is yung family ko. Pag may school pa sila, sa weekends lang talaga kami nakakapag-bond. Pero during weekdays naman hindi naman nawawala yung communication so kung nasa trabaho ako I always call them, so nag-uusap kami on how was their day, how was school, importante naman na parte ka ng buhay nila. So hindi ko naman kailangan na nakadikit ka sa mga anak mo 24/7, importante lang na alam nila na you're there para magbigay ng advice, guidance lang sa kanila,” she said.

Although they can be seen in commercials already, the Ascof Lagundi endorser admitted she does not want to allow her kids to enter showbiz just yet. “Naku to showbiz huwag na lang muna, parang ang ano ko sa kanila is to really finish their studies first. Pag summer sige puwedeng pag commercials sige once in a while, why not? Pero yung sabihin mong maging career, naku parang I'm not yet ready. Parang pag-aaral na lang muna,” she said.

The talented host-actress couldn't hide the fact that the twins have already shown interest in being in the limelight, but she want sthem to fully experience a normal childhood. “They're very open to me na gusto talaga nilang mag-artista. So sa ngayon sinasabi ko na pag-aara na lang muna,” she said.

Blessed with a happy marriage with Zoren Legaspi, Carmina said they have no plans of having a third child anymore. “Ay naku parang hindi na, I'm settled na with those two kids. I'm very happy with them so yun,” she said.
