Arron Villaflor's van taken by carjackers

031014-aaron_main.jpgJuan Dela Cruz actor Arron Villaflor lost his van to two carjackers on Saturday, March 8 afternoon at a bookstore along Quezon Avenue and Scout Borromeo.

Ang nangyari kasi nasa ABS ako, rehearsal ako for ASAP. Nagpa-drive ‘yung sister ko sa kanya kasi sabi ng sister ko ‘Arron may bibilhin lang ako sa National Bookstore’ sabi ko ‘Sige sige pa-drive ka kay Jeff,’” shared Arron in an interview with Buzz ng Bayan aired on Sunday.

When his sister Nikki was about to leave the venue, Arron shared that she can no longer contact their driver Jeff Valdez.

Tumatawag ako sa driver then nag-ri-ring, hindi sumasagot. Nag-try ako ulit then ‘yon, second try ko nag-ring then binaba ‘yung phone.

A few moments after filing a report at the district anti-carnapping unit of the Philippine National Police in Camp Karingal QC, his driver Jeff was located by the police somewhere along Mindanao Avenue.

Relating what his driver told him, Arron said, “Tinutukan daw siya ng baril which is ‘yung revolver nga .38 [caliber]. Kitang kita mo naman sa mukha niya na na-trauma siya. Binaba siya somewhere sa Mindanao Avenue sa may bandang NLEX na palabas. Tapos sabi niya pinatanggal ‘yung upper shirt niya.”

Thankfully, Jeff was found by patrolling individuals in the area after he was dropped off by the carnappers “akala eh kung sino ang nakahubad so pinuntahan siya tapos doon siya nakapag-explain kung ano ang nangyari nga sakanya.

More, the Kapamila star said the police immediately went to the NLEX head office to view the CCTV footages where Jeff was supposedly dropped off.

Although, according to him, they didn’t see Jeff alighting the van in the footages he considers his driver a “victim” in the said carjacking incident.

Despite the unfortunate incident, Arron is grateful that nobody was hurt by the armed carjackers. With that he appealed to the audience for help to find the men who took his six-month old van, “Kung may mapansin man kayo na Super Grandia color white with gold lining ang conduction sticker is TW 4208 ipagbigay alam niyo lang po sa amin.”
