Despite making history by winning the first season of The X Factor Israel, Rose “Osang” Fostanes unfortunately won’t be able to fulfill her promise to her partner Mel Adel that they would be together.
In an interview on the March 2 episode of Buzz ng Bayan, Osang revealed that she would be going back to Israel soon.
Meron po kasi akong pinirmahang contract doon na kailangan kong tapusin muna,” said she.
Do they have plans of starting their own family?
“Noong bata pa kami inisip namin 'yan. Eh ngayon na pareho kaming busy, tsaka may edad na kaming dalawa parang hindi ito ['yung right time] wala rin po kasing mag-aalaga,” she reasoned.
Osang admitted that she never imagined that she would be able to pursue her lifelong dream to become a singer this late in her life especially since she had to give it up some 30 years back to support her family.
According to her, she never even thought that she could get past the first audition much less to become a star or win an international competition for that matter since her journey had been especially tough due to her weight.
Instead of being disheartened by those who called her names and tried to bring her down, Osang turned things around and used their mockery as her motivation.
Now that she was able to prove those who criticized her wrong, Osang believes that the best song that could describe the state that she’s in right this moment would be the song Beautiful by Christina Aguilera.
