As the hit fantaserye Galema finally wraps up today, Andi Eigenmann admitted she will never forget her most physical role onscreen. “Nung tinanong kung ano talaga yung hindi ko makakalimutang eksena sa Galema is yung lahat ng fight scenes. Kung hindi niyo napapanuod, feel na feel ko talaga siya (laughs). Super feel na feel. Kasi I don’t know, na-enjoy ko lang siya talaga. And ang paggawa ng action is isa siya sa mga dream kong gawin sa isang pelikula or teleserye so nakakatuwa na na-fu-fulfill ko siya somehow through Galema. And ang sarap laruin kasi ang dami mong nagagawa,” she explained.
Andi said fans of the show can look forward to an epic battle between Galema and her biological mother Galela (played by Sheryl Cruz) who was also cursed by her father Zuma.
Growing up involved in sports, Andi said she did not have to adjust much when shooting tiring scenes. “Actually para sa akin, hindi siya gaano mahirap, hindi siya masyado malayo sa kung ano yung mga nagagawa ko dahil sa mga hobbies ko as I was growing up and I really enjoy it so basta pina-practice namin yung mga stunts and it’s a matter of understanding with yung kalaban mo,” she added.
Andi revealed she used to play Ultimate Frisbee when she was in high school along with other family members Geoff Eigenmann and Sid Lucero.
Just like her TV role Galema, Andi said she is not the type of person who takes revenge just because a person has done her wrong. “Sa tingin ko if the person doesn’t deserve any of my time or effort, wala na lang I just ignore him. Okay lang. sometimes nga eh even without saying sorry I just forgive, like I just it pass as long as it’s in the past,” she said.
But the 23-year-old actress said she is not perfect and will not allow herself to be abused. “Pero minsan kailangan mo talaga eh, minsan masarap lalo pag nanalo ka (laughs). Pagka-kailangan. Ako mas pumapatol ako pagka I think the person means something to me. Pero kapag wala bahala ka, hindi na ako nag-we-waste ng time,” she said.
