On last night’s Aquino and Abunda Tonight,” Kris Aquino said Dyesebel star Anne Curtis is the new fitness inspiration worldwide. The actress flexed her arm muscles and told the Boy Abunda and Kris that she achieved her toned body through diet, plyometrics exercises and running.
2014 has been a great year for Anne. She, however, admitted being at a low point in her life during the last quarter of 2013 when rumors about her drunken tirade came out. The actress expressed how much she regretted that event in her life. “It’s a lesson learned. I know kung ano talaga ang limitations ko if I go out, siyempre wag na magdiet tapos iinom ..Akala ko wala na, end na po ng career ko.”
She revealed where she got the strength to pick herself up. “Kumapit ako sa mga taong nasa paligid ko who could be honest to me, who could tell me the truth. Of course, the Lord was a big factor kasi siya talaga ang nagbigay ng comfort kasi hindi mo talaga alam kung sino ang mga totoo mong kaibigan unless my family is there, of course my boyfriend.”
Having mentioned her boyfriend Erwan Heussaff, Anne said they have no plans of getting married as both of them are still focused on their careers. She admitted to working hard and saving and Kris directly asked Anne how rich she is. Anne refrained from giving a direct answer but said she is “kuripot.”
Anne revealed that she saves 80 percent of her earnings. She learned the value of saving from her guardian in ABS-CBN Mama Betchay and also from her Dad and her Mom who Ilocana and a certified “kuripot.” The actress said that once she reaches her target savings for the year, that is when she treats herself.
Anne also talked about Dyesebel as it trended worldwide on its pilot airing. She shared that there’s no awkwardness working with Sam and that people are eager to see them working again. People are also excited with her fresh tandem with Gerald Anderson.
According to Anne, she and Dyesebel have the same journey of love and acceptance. “As a person, tulad ng nangyari.. that storm in my life..Ando’n yung acceptance ng pagkakamali but then you have the to say that you’re sorry and to move on, at I feel na yung mga taong sumusubaysay sa akin, gan’on din ang nangyari. They accepted me for who I am and loved me regardless.”
