Being an Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) member, Kathryn Bernardo shared that she can only commit to a relationship if the person is also a member of her church. However, Daniel Padilla, who admitted is her “ka-MU”, is not a member of INC. So when asked if she is still willing to be Daniel’s girlfriend if the teen actor won’t convert to her religion, she replied, “Si DJ kasi alam ko may takot naman siya sa taas so importante sa akin ‘yung naniniwala.
The teen actress remarked that her religion plays a huge part of who she is as a person.
Kathryn shared that she gets to talk about her religion with Daniel. “Minsan napag-uusapan namin ‘yang about sa religion na ‘yan, about sa mga differences ng teachings ng mga INC sa ganyan,” she said. But she clarified that she doesn’t want to put pressure on Daniel to transfer to INC.
Now that Got To Believe has ended, Kathryn shared that she still gets to spend time with Daniel. “Opo, every day, minsan naman magkasama kami pumupunta siya sa bahay kasama niya sina Dominic (Roque), ‘yung barkada niya, nagba-bike kami, ‘yan ‘yung ginagawa namin minsan tuloy-tuloy naman,” she stated.
As she previously revealed, Daniel will be her escort for her upcoming 18th birthday party, which is keeping her very busy at the moment. “Kahit sa little details from invitation, as in nakailang revise ‘yan, sa table setting, sa music, sa party, as in kahit sa maliliit na detail super kong tinutukan. Gusto ko very personal,” she said.
