Andi said she has also gotten closer to their director Wenn Deramas whom she constantly goes to for advice on and off the set. Although she did not elaborate the exact nature of her problems, it can be assumed she was referring to her current relationship with Jake Ejercito, son of former president Joseph “Erap” Estrada. “Direk Wenn will only give me advice and talk to me when it’s something that I open up. Hindi naman si direk Wenn yung bigla na lang manghihimasok sa buhay namin at papangaralan kami. Only if we ask. Para kasi kay direk Wenn ang hangad niya lang ay maging masaya ako and that I really dwell on things that shouldn’t be counted as important. And naniniwala talaga ako kay direk Wenn kasi other than the fact na kilala niya ako simula pagkabata, alam ko na mas madami na siyang napagdaanan, his experience, papunta pa lang kami pabalik na siya. So talagang I want to take to heart kung ano yung mga advice na binibigay niya sa akin kasi alam ko na he just tells me these things for the betterment of my heart,” she said.
After being seen together at a recent magazine event, Andi said she and the now Singapore-based Jake are doing okay. “Yeah we attended the Garage anniversary because both of all our friends are a part of it and matagal na namin parehong di sila nakikita so we decided to go,” she shared.
Although she has always been vocal about her feelings for Erap's son, Andi said she des not want to comment on Jake being less than forthcoming about his feelings for her. “I don’t want to speak on behalf of someone else because as much as I was never afraid to tell the world how I feel about him, ibang tao pa rin siya. And for me, alam niyo na yung na-fi-feel ko para sa kanya, ayoko ng paulit-ulit sabihin yung na-fi-feel ko para sa taong hindi kayang gawin yung the same,” she said.
Andi admitted she could not help but show she was a little bit hurt by the Jake's silence on the matter. “Hindi ko alam kung naiintindihan ko. Basta yun, alam niyo na kung anong nararamdaman ko para sa kanya. Hindi ko puwede sabihin kung anong nararamdaman niya para sa akin on his behalf. Pero para sa akin, I want to stop talking about him kasi hindi rin naman niya kayang gawin yun. Why would I talk about my feelings for a person who can’t do the same for me?” she added.
For the meantime, Andi said she would rather focus on giving the Galema viewers an exciting last three weeks and getting ready for her role in the upcoming fantaserye Dyesebel where she plays the nemesis of Anne Curtis. “Siyempre masaya ako kasi nakikita ng management kung gaano ako ka-dedicated sa ginagawa ko and kung gaano ko kamahal ito and that’s all I want naman na makapagtrabaho and patuloy na ma-e-entertain ko ang mga manunuod,” she said.
