Vice reacts on allegations he won his first acting award through vote buying.
The comedian thanks the Philippine Movie Press Club for his win as Best Actor in the recently concluded Star Awards for Movies since he was not able to accept his trophy personally last Saturday.
Vice in his speech also addressed allegations that he unfairly won his award because he bought the votes of some members of the organization. (Read PMPC statement HERE
) He admits he asked himself if he should accept the recognition or not.
“Thanks PMPC Star Awards for my first acting trophy.
Vice then thanks the movie goers who appreciated his performance in the movie Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy. He also told his friends and supporters he’s happy they always believe in him and his talents.
,” he says.
