Vice, KC win big in 30th Star Awards for Movies
The Philippine Movie Pres Club has announced its winners for the Star Awards on Sunday, March 10, 2014 at the Solaire Resort Hotel, Paranaque City.. 

The awarding ceremony, which was hosted by Piolo Pascual, Toni Gonzaga, Maja Salvador and Robi Domingo, marks its 30th year. As it celebrates its Pearl Anniversary, Star Awards honored the people in the industry who have contributed to the growth of Philippine movie for the last decade. Dekada Awards were given to  John Lloyd Cruz, Jericho Rosales, Piolo Pascual, Dennis Trillo, Aga Muhlach, Baron Geisler, JUdy Ann Santos, Eugene Domingo and Ai-Ai delas Alsa. Movie directors Olivia Lamasan, Joel Lamangan, Jose Javier Reyes, Mark Meily and Jerrold Tarog also received Dekada Awards. 

Vice Ganda and KC Concepcion also won big during the awards night winning Best Actor for Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy and Best Actress for Boy Golden: Shoot-to-Kill respectively. On the Job won Movie of the Year and its director Erik Matti won as Best Director. Another On The Job star won Movie Supporting Actor of the 
Year in the person of Joey Marquez. Huling Chacha ni Anita star Angel Aquino won as Supporting Actress of the Year.

  • Movie Editor of the Year: Jay Halili (On the Job)
  • Indie Movie Production Designer of the Year: Junjun Montelibano (Sonata)
  • Movie Production Designers of the Year: Joel Bilbao & Fritz Silorio (Shoot to Kill: Boy Golden) 
  • Indie Movie Editor of the Year: Carlo Francisco Manatad (Badil)
  • Indie Movie Cinematographer of the Year: Jun Gonzales (Bamboo Flowers)
  • Movie Cinematographer of the Year: Ricardo Buhay III (On the Job) 
  • Indie Movie Screenwriter of the Year: Joey Reyes (Ano ang Kulay ng mga Nakalimutang Pangarap?)
  • Movie Cinematographer of the Year: Erik Matti & Michiko Yamamoto (On The Job)
  • Nora Aunor Ulirang Artista Lifetime Achievement Award: Rustica Carpio 
  • Ulirang Alagad ng Pelikula sa Likod ng Kamera Lifetime Achievement Awards: Ricardo Lee (screenwriter) and Peque Gallaga (film director)
  • Movie Supporting Actor of the Year: Joey Marquez (On the Job) 
  • Movie Supporting Actress of the Year: Angel Aquino (Huling Chacha ni Anita)
  • Male Movie Star of the Night: Piolo Pascual
  • Female Movie Star of the Night: Toni Gonzaga
  • Indie Movie Director of the Year: Chito Rono (Badil) 
  • Indie Movie of the Year: Chito Rono's (Badil)
The PMPC 30th Star Awards will be aired on March 16 on ABS-CBN's Sunday's Best.
