Epey Herher says that she idolizes Aiza Seguerra and Charice
022214-epey_main.jpgThat's My Tomboy grand winner Eper Heyhey revealed that she has always been inspired by the works of fellow lesbians Aiza Seguerra and Charice.

Epey said she finds it challenging to sing the songs popularized by Charice so she prefers the lower pitch of Aiza's songs.

With a strong fan base that admires her natural confidence and friendly personality, Epey said she wishes she could also inspire other young people to not be shy to show who they are. “Sa tingin ko you just have to be yourself. Ipakita mo kung sino ka talaga. Tapos always pray. At bago mo isipin yung sarili mo yung ibang tao muna,” she shared.

With dreams of having her own album someday, the 25-year-old former English tutor said she has always been into writing love songs. For example sobrang lungkot, sobrang in love. Basta kapag sobra yung nararamdaman ko,” she shared.

Although her family has always been supportive of her preference, Epey said she will never get tired of defending her right to be open about her sexuality. You just have to be yourself, yun lang,” she said.

Now that she is slowly making a name for herself in showbiz, Epey said she will never let fame get to her head.
