Deniece and Cedric feel harassed by members of the press
022014-cedric_main.jpgToday, February 21, is the second Preliminary Investigation into the cases filed by Vhong Navarro against Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo, Bernice Lee among others.

Attorney Howard Calleja, who is representing Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo appealed to the DOJ not to allow media coverage of the second Preliminary Investigation. According to abs-cbnnews.com, “Calleja said his clients were already feeling harassed due to the members of the press who were continuously taking pictures of them during the proceedings.”

As a response to their request, the DOJ did not send the media out of the venue but asked them to “observe proper decorum and not to go too close to Lee and Cornejo.”

Navarro was not able to attend the Preliminary Investigation but was represented by his lawyer Atty. Alma Mallonga. Meanwhile, Bernice Lee and Zimmer Raz were present; the two were “also tagged in the mauling of Navarro in the condominium unit of Cornejo in Taguig last January 22.”
