Iya Villania reveals when she is planning to have a baby with husband Drew Arellano
021814-Iya_main.jpgAfter tying the knot recently in Batangas, Iya Villania said she is still adjusting to married life and enjoying her new role as wife to Drew Arellano. “Masaya siya, ini-enjoy namin. Parang nagbahay-bahayan kami. Ini-enjoy namin ‘yung just being together all the time kasi hindi na niya ako kailangan ihatid sa bahay, sabay na kami umuuwi. I just moved in with him. Pero nakakapanibago, pati ‘yung status na ‘married’ hindi ako sanay don eh so nakakatuwa lang,” Iya said in an interview with Push.com.ph and Cinema News.

Iya relayed that they plan to have their honeymoon in June in the US, but they might postpone it because they still need to settle things. “Wala pang honeymoon, kasi ngayon pa lang just to be able to live together parang ‘yon na ‘yung honeymoon namin eh kasi it’s not something that we’re used to. It’s not something that we have before. I think it’s nice just to be able to use this time to settle down, get the hang of things,” she said.

When asked if when they are planning to welcome a baby in their life soon, Iya shared, “Well sana after two to three years pa. Laging sinasabi ko after three years pero ngayon baka after two na lang sana. If ever magkaroon ng happy accident, okay na rin, of course tatanggapin ko.” Iya relayed that their family and friends are supportive of the idea of not having a kid too soon. “They all agree naman, they said to just enjoy being a married couple.”

The couple celebrated their first Valentine’s Day as husband and wife in Batanes which according to her was actually their dream location for their wedding. “Sa Batanes talaga namin gustong ikasal sana pero dahil sa budget hindi kakayanin at tsaka dahil sa weather hindi naman namin pwede ikontrata na sana huwag umulan at also ‘yung logistics mahirap so we decided not to,” she said.

Iya described their recent trip to Batanes as truly remarkable. “Sobrang perfect ‘yung timing kasi nagkataon na ‘yung trabaho niya sa Batanes, eh siyempre bilang misis sumama ako at don kami nag-Valentines so ang saya lang kasi ang galing lang talaga ng timing ni Lord,” she stated.
