Jasmine remains positive her Ate Anne and Sam would eventually grow closer each other
“The best talaga. I mean it’s hard as well on his part to do that when you know it can be so intimidating kasi talaga kapag ‘yung Ate na mismo or kunwari may Kuya man ako na ganon ang dating diba?” she shared during her live appearance on The Buzz on Sunday.
Jasmine remains positive amid the silent spat between two important people in her life saying that, “God is guiding us and hopefully it will get to a point na every occasion magkakasama na kami.”
While they are not the best of friends, Jasmine stressed that her Ate and Sam are civil with one another.
Instead of rebelling against her sister’s gesture, Jasmine actually understands where her Ate is coming from. Moreover, she also corrected rumors that her elder sister was deliberately picking on Sam alone.
“I think in general ganon po talaga ang mga Ate. Anyone that I’ve ever liked before I was with Sam talagang ganyan si Ate so she’s not picking on him. And she can see how serious it is between us so gusto niya lang talaga safe ‘yung feelings ko and she can protect me as much as she can,” the Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo star said. “She means well.”
But understanding her Ate’s point doesn't mean that she won’t be making her own decisions. If anything, she has managed to sail in the middle and still be with Sam from the moment their spat started until this day.
She explained that, “I agree din kasi tama nga without the experience and without knowing what pain feels like, the joy, how will we know on our own? But at the same time kailangan as well as with the experience, you’re also listening to the advice, taking in as much knowledge as you can from someone who knows it also.”
