Carla Abellana denies her father PJ Abellana disapproves of Tom Rodriguez

<div><img src='' alt='120714-karla_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Carla Abellana finally sets the record straight about the rumors surrounding her new flame, former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Tom Rodriguez.</div><div><br/></div><div>One of the issues that was being linked to Tom was that Carla’s father, veteran actor Rey 'PJ' Abellana, does not approve of him after supposedly seeing him throw a fit on the set of a game show.</div><div><br/></div><div>“There’s really no truth behind it. <i>Si Tom pa, napakabait na tao. It was a daily game show, hindi ko alam kung saan nanggagaling 'yun,</i>” she said during her live appearance on <i>The Buzz</i> on Sunday.</div><div><br/></div><div>The Shake Rattle and Roll XV star even added, “In fact, <i>nung araw ng taping, ang sama ng pakiramdam niya </i>that he had to go to the hospital to have himself checked. <i>Ang taas ng blood pressure niya. Siguro dahil sa stress. Bumalik pa nga siya ng taping from the hospital kasi nahiya siya sa production. I don’t think somebody na masama na nga ang pakiramdam, siya pa 'yung mananakit ng tao or magdadabog</i> or something.”</div><div><br/></div><div>If anything, Carla claimed that her father is ecstatic to meet Tom in person.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Nakilala lang niya si Tom for the first time, on TV pa. So walang chance na</i> off cam. Looking forward siya na makilala pa si Tom better,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Since photos of them going out together has spread online, many netizens presumed that they are now officially a couple.</div><div><br/></div><div>Something which Carla clarified saying that, “We are dating,<i> aaminin namin 'yun. Lalo na ngayon na mas may free time kami. Walang time outside of work.
