Nadine Lustre says JaDine is not competing with KathNiel

100914-nadine_main.jpgNadine Lustre said that she is happy about the success of her Wansapanataym series My App Boyfie with actor James Reid. “I’m so happy and first project namin ‘to with ABS(CBN) and marami ang nanood, maraming sumusubaybay tsaka I’m very thankful kasi ang mga fans namin todo suporta sila sa amin ni James ever since DNP (Diary ng Panget) tapos ngayon My App Boyfie na,” she said.

With the many projects that are coming her way, Nadine said that she is just making the most out of it all. “I’m just enjoying everything kasi para sa akin hindi naman lahat nabibigyan ng ganong opportunity. I’m just enjoying everything, hindi ko na iniisip na nagtratrabaho ako, iniisip ko lang parang nagi-enjoy lang ako at gusto ko talaga ‘yung ginagawa ko.”

The actress also commented on the constant comparison of her love team with James Reid, JaDine, to KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla). “Well kami naman, with us, with me and James, there’s no issue naman talaga, we're not competing, we’re just being ourselves and we’re just enjoying what we’re doing. I don’t know siguro kasi ‘yung mga tao since love team, sila love team din, it’s normal din naman to compare. Ganon naman tayo lahat we compare and contrast different things. I guess it’s normal.”

Nadine shared that she has yet to meet Kathryn since they haven’t had the chance to talk yet. “There was one time na nag ASAP kami for Talk Back and You're Dead ano ‘to parang naka-standby kami somewhere at dumaan daw siya, nakatalikod ako tapos sabi nila ‘Oh si Kathryn’ sabi ko ‘Saan?’ hindi ko nakita.”

On what she thinks is the reason behind the success of her love team with James, she said, “Siguro we just complement each other and you'll be surprise with DNP (Diary ng Panget) parang biglaan lang siya eh parang hindi man lang tinest and it just worked.”
