Paul Soriano on proposing to Toni Gonzaga: ‘I just have a lot of planning and surprising to do’

100814-paul_main.jpgPaul Soriano is very proud of his girlfriend Toni Gonzaga after she staged a very successful anniversary concert titled Celestine in the Mall of Asia Arena last Friday, October 3, 2014. “I’m just part of the audience tonight. It was very emotional for me because I was so proud of her. I just can’t grasp how talented she is. She can do it in films, she can do it in hosting, and she can do it on stage as a singer. There’s nothing that she can’t do. And that’s what happens when you put God first,” he said in an interview at the concert.

On his message for Toni, Paul said, “Congratulations. It's always an experience to watch you on stage and seeing your dreams come true and God bless you more. Always put God first and He will put you first. It’s always amazing to see what a wonderful person you are.”

Many thought that Paul was going to propose to Toni during the concert. Paul commented that if he would propose, he would want to do it away from the media and the camera. “I think there’s a lot of her life in front of the camera and I think I’m part of that life that we live behind the camera. It will come very soon and I just have a lot of planning and surprising to do because it’s hard to surprise her because she's always trying to guess nowadays but very soon.”

Paul added that he will propose to Toni in God’s time. He also shared that after the concert he will be spending more time with Toni. “A lot of things are unwinding a lot of things are happening. She just finished her concert, there’s a lot of time for us to catch up and spend some personal time together and when God tells me one day [to propose] and tells me ‘Go for it’ then I will go for it.”
