Luis Manzano and Toni Gonzaga speak up about their supposed ‘competition’

102814-Luis-and-Toni_main.jpgMatagumpay ang pagbabalik ng The Voice of the Philippines noong Linggo. Hindi na kailangan mag-effort, yung chemistry na meron kami from the previous shows na na-host naming dalawa and I think it’s a good idea na pinagmerge ang The Voice Kids at The Voice na Season 1 tapos dito sa Season 2 pinagsama kaming dalawa.”

Parang we are just really thankful, nag-uusap nga kami, parang ito yung first time.”

Ayon kay Luis, “Obviously Toni is a long time friend and we’ve hosted E-live ng matagal-tagal then PBB. Kumbaga, technically it is still a first for Toni and I.”

You know what, that is for other people to say. You know after a good 10 to 11 years in the industry, I guess every day is a learning experience, it will never end. I mean yung growth na yun it’s for the audience, that’s for production to say, mahirap naman kung sa amin manggaling.”

“Siguro tumatalino lang siya over the years because of his experience at saka iba yung confidence level every year ganyan kasi. Like what I said kanina hosting is a never ending learning experience and every time you host a different kind of show, it gives you a kind of confidence mo na yung next na task na ibibigay sa akin mas maha-handle ko ng mabuti kasi magandang training yung napagdaanan ko nung dating show.”

“You know I love these two people, they are two very fun ladies to be with. They are not just co-hosts, they are my friends and that makes everything worth it. Kumbaga tanggalin niyo ang Voice, tanggalin niyo lahat ng project namin, sa likod ng camera I can easily text Toni, I can easily text Alex, so for me it’s something pleasant.”
