Jaclyn Jose on Laarni Enriquez’s thoughts about her daughter Andi: ‘It’s her prerogative, she’s the mother’
She even went on to remind the public that whatever thoughts that Laarni had about Andi was entirely her “prerogative.” “She’s the mother, huwag nating kalimutan na malaki rin ang sakripisyo ni Laarni sa anak niya. Kung anuman ang sinasabi niya, karapatan niya yun dahil siya ang nagpalaki sa anak niya, hindi tayo,” Jaclyn stressed.
If anything, the famed character actress is happy that her relationship with Jake’s parents, Laarni and Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada is currently doing well. “Okay naman na, we don’t want to break that ano… kasi, it’s my sister who is friends with her. They’re talking na and gusto kong i-maintain ‘yun. Wala na akong dapat sabihin,” Jaclyn explained. Her sister, Veronica Jones, is one of Laarni’s closest friends.
After news of a tiff with her daughter made rounds months back, Jaclyn was able to patch things up with Andi. To avoid the same incident from happening again, Jaclyn has resolved from keeping a safe distance from her daughter’s love life.
“Hindi na ako… inilabas ko na yung sarili ko mula noong magkaproblema. So, hinayaan ko na si Andi. Love life naman niya ‘yun. Pag-ibig naman niya ‘yan. Hindi naman talaga ako sakop na niyan,” she claimed.
In keeping with her promise not to meddle on her daughter’s affairs, Jaclyn even said that she has “no business in dwelling sa kanilang pribadong buhay” when asked about rumors that Jake and Andi were seen together once again recently.
Despite keeping mum on the controversial issues surrounding Andi, Jaclyn wants nothing but the best for her. “Her life to be fruitful. And for her to become somebody kung ano ang gusto niya, kahit ano pa’ng nakakapaloob doon,” Jaclyn Jaclyn said.
