Ikwinento ng premyadong aktres ang nangyari sa kanila ng kanyang ina. “My mom she does not really know what happened kasi may Alzheimer’s ang mom ko. Basta nung lumayas yung ‘trusted’ helper niya, si Rina, she took her jewelry. She took her credit cards and mga ID and we only found out lang yesterday on the extent of the things that she took sa house na premeditated talaga na unti-unti niyang nilalabas na mga gamit but my mom is safe.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Lahad pa ni Alice na isang taon ding nanilbihan sa kanila ang pinagkatiwalaang kasambahay. “And then may na-sense ako last month na mga receipts na hindi kumpleto so I decided to hire a secondary help to assist kasi baka nahihirapan siya, mahirap mag-alaga ng matanda and then the third day after naghire ako ng secondary help, lumayas na siya with my mom’s things. She knew that if she stayed mabibisto yung mga ginagawa niya.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Naireport na rin nila ang pangyayaring ito sa pulis ngunit kung maibabalik lamang ang mga ninakaw na alahas ay handang magpatawad ni Alice ang ginawa sa kanila ng kasambahay. “We went to the police station this morning, in Taytay, it’s ongoing, tinext ko siya, I gave her a chance just to return my mother’s jewelry kasi bigay yun ng tatay ko and it’s more of a sentimental value more than  anything else, the credit cards we can cancel them walang problema yun pero it’s the jewelry that my mom always wears everyday. Yung diamond earrings na binigay ng dad ko sa kanya. So those are the things that I ask na if you could just please return them then you know we won’t file a case. Everything will be okay at hinid pa siya mababad shot sa ibang agencies, she’ll be able to work at hindi siya magtatago right? Just for that amount kasi I am trying to give the person a chance to do the right thing and I hope she does.”</div><div><br/></div><div>May pakiusap pa ang aktres sa dating kasambahay, “So Rina, even if you did somethong wrong papatawarin kita just give my mom’s stuff back.” </div><div><br/></div><div>Ngunit sa likod nito, panghihinayang pa rin ang nararamdaman ng aktres sa kasambahay. “Hindi ako natakot, nanghihinayang lang ako kasi matagal na siya sa mom ko and it’s hard to find a trusted helper talaga and it’s not like modus operandi. I don’t want to say that because it’s still under investigation but dala ng kahirapan siguro ngayon. I don’t blame people for their actions although if it’s is wrong I don’t want to judge people, if you do something wrong try to make up for it, try to do correct.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Siniguro naman ni Alice nasa maayos na kalagayan ang kanyang ina at walang nangyaring anumang masama. “Hindi sinaktan ang mom ko, I brought her for a check up yesterday, she looks fine, she looks good so like I said she has Alzheimer’s so she does not know or does not remember a thing, so pasok labas yung katulong hindi naman niya alam. So I heard iniiwan din niya yung mom ko na nahuli ng kasama ko na iniiwan pala siya for hours at a time, mag-isa yung mom ko, so really you have to be careful. Maglagay na tayo ng mga CCTV sa ating mga bahay.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Sa nangyaring ito sa kanya at sa kanyang ina, doble ingat na lang ang kanilang gagawin sa susunod. Aniya, “You know even if there is an NBI clearance, nalaman ko na pwede palang ipeke yun. They go through an agency, they screen, you interview them, you know where their house is, you do like a referral check, they still in circumstances beyond your control, things happen right? You can’t tell what somebody else is going to do.”</div>
