In an episode of morning talk show Basta Every Day, Happy, Heart nevertheless reiterated that he wedding has her parents’ blessings.
"Although ibinigay nila 'yung blessing na magpakasal, hindi raw talaga nila kayang makitang magpakasal ako," she said. "Pero, the good news, pinayagan nila lahat ng mga kapatid ko [na pumunta]."
The actress-host assured though that she would be sharing with her parents the going –ons on her wedding She explained: "Magkikita na lang kami pagdating ko sa Manila, pero sa kasal... Okay na siguro, kung nahihirapan sila. Ako lang naman siguro makakaintindi no'n, so okay lang sa akin. Video nalang ipapakita ko."
Recall that the lawmaker opened up about their relationship in October 2012 after being introduced to one another by Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago. While they have been expressive about how happy and certain they are about each other, Heart’s parents were anything but pleased about their relationship.
It was only two months ago when the senator popped the question to the 29-year-old star.
Despite her parents' absence on her wedding day, Heart remains unaffected as she has a lot to look forward to on her big day, foremost of it was her vows exchange with her soon-to-be-husband.
"[I'm looking forward to] the everyday life lang. Finally, relaxed na kayo. Wala kayong pag-aawayan, dahil lahat nalang pinag-aawayan niyo dati. Siguro ngayon, mag-se-settle na kami. The consistency of a life together is what I look forward to," she ended.
