Amy Perez announces her wedding to Carlo Castillo on Umagang Kay Ganda

<div><img src='' alt='101014-amy_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Host Amy Perez announced her upcoming wedding with Carlo Castillo, her boyfriend of 8 years on <i>Umagang Kay Ganda</i> today, October 10. “I’m just very happy to share with everybody <i>itong bagong</i> journey <i>sa buhay ko,</i>” she stated.</div><div><br/></div><div>Amy, whose marriage to Brix Ferraris was finally annulled, even joked that she thought she will have to wait until she’s 60 before she can remarry. She is getting married again after 15 years. </div><div><br/></div><div><i>The Singing Bee</i> host said that marrying her present boyfriend, Carlo is very important to them, especially for their kids. Amy and Carlo have two children together while the host has a child from her previous marriage. </div><div><br/></div><div>Narrating how she met Carlo, Amy said that she was listening to a radio announcement about a sick child who needs support so she decided to issue a cheque to help. When she knocked at the door of <i>DZMM</i>’s office to give the donation, she met Carlo. At first, she thought his bearing seemed arrogant so she simply asked that he give the envelope to Karen Davila, who was the radio show host. It was after a year when she had a radio show at <i>DZMM</i> that she got to know Carlo, who was working there as well. </div><div><br/></div><div>Amy said that she was surprised with his efforts to get to know her child from her first marriage. </div><div><br/></div><div>Via phone call, Carlo Castillo commended Amy’s cooking skills and expressed how appreciative and sweet she is. Further, he told her, “<i>Mahal kita kahapon, minamahal kita ngayon at mas lalo kitang mamahalin bukas.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>Amy is thankful that Carlo did not leave her despite her struggles. She said that he is more matured than her and more loving towards the kids and God. She said that she learned so many things from him.</div><div><br/></div><div>“This is the completion <i>talaga</i> of God’s love for me n<i>a nakita ko talaga kung paano niya ko tinuruan nung salitang,</i> ‘Wait, <i>anak. Dadating talaga kung sino yung para sa’yo,’ </i>so <i>ito yun,</i>” said a tearful Amy. </div><div><br/></div>

The host is finally marrying her partner of 8 years.
