Isabel Oli admitted that she is already looking forward to settling down with John Prats after the latter proposed to her last week. “I’m really, really happy and I’m really excited and I am really looking forward sa wedding mismo.”
The actress shared that she didn’t have any clue that John was proposing to her that night. “Before the proposal, I had no idea so relax lang, chill lang, I really thought na parang dapat kasi may birthday party for the mom of John si tita Alma so ‘yon ‘yung nasa isip ko.”
She further relayed that she was truly overwhelmed by the grand proposal that John did for her. John staged a grand flash mob for Isabel before he popped the question. “So nung nangyari na ‘yung proposal parang ang daming pumasok sa isip ko na parang anong nangyayari, hindi ko naintidihan, sabi ko ano ‘to proposal, anniversary , event ba ni Sam Milby kasi si Sam Milby ang una kong nakita eh pero nung after naman [the proposal] sobrang nanginginig ako, ‘yung excitement and tsaka ‘yung saya at kaba nag-combine na nanginginig ka kaya I really cried, hindi ko ma-contain ‘yung sobrang kilig,” Isabel said.
On their wedding plans, Isabel said that they will just take it one step at a time. “We’re just going to enjoy this moment first, sobrang parang ngayon na nagsi-sink in na talaga sa akin na I am engaged ganyan but parang nao-overwhelmed pa kami sa mga messages ng tao kasi until now meron pa ring nagtwe-tweet, Instagram and all. Ano lang medyo just take it slow parang ganon hind naman mamadaliin.”
With John’s proposal video going viral on social media, Isabel said that she is happy that people got inspired to make their own proposals as special as what the actor did for her. “Oo, nakakatuwa talaga we didn’t expect. When John planned this whole thing, he didn’t expect it to be like this. He just wanted it to be special for me tapos parang hindi naman alam na pati ‘yung ibang tao sobrang nai-inspire, kinikilig kaya nakakatuwa talaga sobrang nakakatuwa. We're going to release the whole video talaga with the making kung paano ginawa nila John on October 4 kasi ang daming naghihingi eh na wala talaga sana sa plano namin na i-release ganon so ang daming nanghihingi.”
Isabel confirmed that the wedding will be in 2015. “It’s in 2015, in the Philippines, wala pa [theme] at all pero I’m sure it’s going to be a simple one.” As soon as they get married, Isabel said that she doesn’t want them to rush having babies. “Siguro I’ll just enjoy being with him, kami lang siguro muna talaga soon na ‘yung babies.”
