The five student teams from University of the East-Caloocan, Miriam College, Far Eastern University, Lyceum of the Philippines, and Philippine Women's University were selected by Biogesic, the leading paracetamol in the country being endorsed by John Lloyd to take part in Biogesic’s Ingat na Damang-Dama Sineserye.
Out of the 600 heartfelt stories, Biogesic, in collaboration with Cinema One and ABS-CBN, has selected the Top 5 best anecdotes to be made into short films that aptly represented how caring should be done, the same way that the brand has been doing it for years now to its loyal customers.
In creating their films, the student teams were guided by no less than the award-winning and veteran ABS-CBN directors, some of which, John Lloyd has worked with in the past, namely: Ruel Bayani, Rory Quintos, Jerome Pobocan, Cathy Garcia-Molina, and Jerry Sineneng.
“Nakakatuwa and at the same time nakaka-proud na itong mga director na ito, despite their busy schedules, eh nagbigay talaga sila ng oras to help the students in perfecting their first short films. Malaking bagay ‘yun,” said John Lloyd.
After viewing all five films, John Lloyd couldn’t be any happier and prouder that Biogesic paved the way for the budding student filmmakers to make their mark in the filmmaking industry and showcase what the brand that he has been promoting all these years was truly about.
