<div><img src='' alt='012514-Vhong_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Actor-host Vhong Navarro is currently recovering from injuries he incurred from a beating incident that happened at a condominium in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig on Wednesday (January 22). </div><div><br/></div><div>According to reports from abs-cbnnews.com, his manager, director Chito Roño, has released a statement regarding the incident. '<i>Si </i>Vhong Navarro<i> ay naimbitihan sa isang</i> condominium unit <i>sa</i> Fort<i> ng isang kaibigang babae. At sa di pa malamang kadahilanan, siya ay piniringan, pinagtulungang bugbugin, ginapos, tinakot, at hinihingan ng pera ng isang grupo ng kalalakihan</i> noong January 22,<i> Miyerkules. Si </i>Vhong<i> ay kasalukuyang nagpapagaling at mawawala ng pansamantala sa 'It's Showtime' at iba pa niyang proyekto</i>.'</div><div><br/></div><div>Roño also said that Vhong is unable to give his own account of what happened because he “cannot speak properly.” The comedian may also “undergo an operation due to his injuries.” </div><div><br/></div>

The actor will be absent on 'Showtime' and his other projects.
