Mitoy Yonting vows to be a better husband this year
012114-Mitoy_Main.jpgAfter becoming the first winner of The Voice of the Philippines last year, Mitoy Yonting admitted that 2013 was a very good year for his musical career. “I feel very blessed, hanggang ngayon naman eh. Yun lang ang masasabi ko at nagpapasalamat ako,” he said. As part of the cast of the new Kapamilya sitcom Home Sweetie Home, the talented performer said he is looking forward to honing his comedic skills as well. Mitoy had his first acting stint in a sitcom on another network a few years ago.

Even though singing will always be his first love, Mitoy admitted he is open to doing more acting projects this year. “Masayahin akong tao.

In Home Sweetie Home, he plays the role of a videoke owner in the same neighborhood where John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga live. Madali kaming mag-ble-blend sigurado,” he said. Even with a regular taping schedule, Mitoy said his regular gigs will not be affected by the show. Meron akong mga comedy acts din pero siyempre more on kanta,” he added.

Mitoy also shared that he will finally get to start working on his first solo album. Pero this month mag-sa-start kami as in Mitoy Yonting yun na, may mga bago, may mga revival,” he shared.

The talented performer said that he also looks forward on working on his resolution this year to be a better husband as well.
