KC Concepcion plans to study abroad
011114-KC_main.jpgAfter the success of her first Metro Manila Film Festival entry Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill, the Arturo Porcuna Story opposite Laguna governor ER Ejercito and being hospitalized last week, KC Concepcion will be leaving soon to study abroad.

“After doing a teleserye and a movie last year, together with my new endorsements, I realized there's SO MUCH more I can still learn about this industry,” she posted on her Twitter account on January 8. She continued, “After getting pneumonia, I decided to take the jump and do something new for myself.”

While she didn’t reveal other details such as where and what she would be studying, KC assured that “I'm still a Kapamilya & will be back!” According to a separate Twitter post, she would be away to study during the first quarter of the year.

Her last soap was Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala with Sam Milby and Judy Ann Santos which ended last year. Last week, the Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s daughter worried her fans when she posted on Instagram a photo of herself in a hospital bed with the caption that read: “Not the perfect way to start the new year, BUT!!! A great reminder to work hard, though not TOO hard! Let's take CARE & really listen to our bodies! Health is beauty!!!” the actress said.

According to her other posts, she spent four days in the hospital and her younger siblings visited after New Year. “Onto a speedy recovery, thanks to my Carebears! Frankie, Miel, Miguel. They went to Thailand with the parents for New Years. Sigh...” she wrote.

Through her posts on Instagram, KC also conveyed her hopes for 2014 which includes accomplishing more goals and staying positive. “This year, I pray to be surrounded with more people that have a positive effect on others. My current read—How Full is Your Bucket?—tells us how we can have more positive moments and be an encouragement to people around us.#LiveBeautifully” she posted.
