Star Magic Ball 2013 glistens anew

<div><img src='' alt='090813-starmagic_main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Digressing from the traditional sit-down dinner setup, this year's Star Magic Ball held on September 7 at the Fairmont Hotel's grand ballroom has taken on a fashion show theme. In place of fabulous tablescapes and classy china and silverware were rows upon rows of seats lined on the side of the ballroom where the all beautiful and dashing stars, ABS-CBN executives, and distinguished guests in their couture ball gowns and suits sat for the show.</div><div>This year, it was no less than the Concert King Martin Nievera who took on the microphone as the master of ceremonies as he instigated laughs among his colleagues in the business with his witty ripostes.</div><div><br/></div><div>Since he was absent from this year's gathering, one of Star Magic's  most prized talents, Diether Ocampo, made sure that he didn't miss on acknowledging the year that was for his brothers and sisters in Star Magic through a message read by The Voice of the Philippines host Robi Domingo. </div><div><br/></div><div>The message honored the success of Star Magic in honing the industry's cream of the crop as well as its talents' individual achievements in their respective careers and otherwise ranging from recognitions here and abroad from box-office hits, top-rating soaps, down to personal milestones. </div><div><br/></div><div>Eventually, Robi wrapped up the message with Diether's promise to join the remarkable event of his home network next year.</div><div><br/></div><div>As part of tradition, awards were given to certain Kapamilya talents whose beauty and charm shone brightest tonight.
