When asked why, the sexy actress relayed, “I’ve never been with a showbiz guy before <i>at tinatanong din ako ng mga</i> best friends<i> ko kung bakit daw hindi ako nag-</i>boyfriend <i>ng</i> showbiz,<i> siguro may</i> wall <i>ako</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>But the Davaoeña actress relayed that if the guy is boyfriend-material and could passed her standards, she might give it a shot. “If ever <i>may dumating sa buhay ko na may</i> potential <i>na maging siya ang </i>right guy for me then why not?” She’s also single at the moment that she sees no reason at all not to entertain suitors from showbiz. “I’m not dating anyone right now and I’m getting mature and I think <i>wala naman sigurong masama na mag</i>-boyfriend <i>ako ng </i>showbiz.”</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress stars in an indie movie titled <i>Lauriana</i> this September which according to her is her most challenging role to date. “It’s very challenging, in fact the most challenging role I ever portrayed in my life,” she remarked.</div><div><br/></div><div>On her preparations for the movie, she said that she used method acting in order to portray her role. “<i>Nag</i>-method acting <i>ako, nag-</i>dwell<i> ako sa sarili kong</i> emotions,” she explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>She also utilized her imagination in her portrayal since <i>Lauriana</i> is a complex character. “<i>Pero</i> in my case <i>may mga</i> experiences <i>kasi si</i> Lauriana <i>na hindi ko naman na</i>-experience <i>sa totoong buhay</i> so I have to use my wide imagination<i> para mas maging</i> realistic ‘<i>yung</i> acting<i> ko at para ‘yung mga pinakita kong</i> scene is <i>makatotohanan</i>,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Her role was also very daring that she said it might be her last one of the kind since her family is very conservative. “My most daring and my first and last, <i>kasi ang </i>mom<i> ko</i> conservative, actually my whole family is conservative and <i>medyo ayaw na niya eh pero sabi ko naman sa </i>mom<i> ko na hindi naman</i> totally ‘<i>yung nasa</i> script ‘<i>yun na ‘yun, pwede namang i-</i>improvise.<i> Tsaka</i> I didn’t feel that I was taken advantage [of]<i>, sobrang inalagaan ako ng</i> director,” she shared. But what would make her decide to play another sexy role again? <i>“Kung mapapantayan niya ang ganda ng</i> story<i> ng </i>Lauriana, <i>ganon kaganda ang </i>story <i>na ginawa ni </i>Ricky Lee.”</div><div><br/></div><div><i>Lauriana</i> is directed by Mel Chionglo and written by Ricky Lee.
