With the success of her afternoon soap opera Annaliza, child actress Andrea Brillantes said she feels very lucky to be headlining the successful Kapamilya remake of the popular ‘80s drama. Lahat ng mga nanunuod ng show maraming salamat,” she said. The 10-year-old has also been busy visiting other parts of the country to promote the show with other members of the cast.
During a recent appearance at the Kadayawan festival in Davao city, Andrea shared that she was looking forward to meeting her fans in Mindanao, but was afraid of flying their because of a traumatic experience. When asked if she was excited to go on an airplane, Andrea said she was not.
But one redeeming factor about the whole experience was getting to be on the same flight as Got to Believe star Daniel Padilla.
Andrea said she is too young to have a crush on the teen heartthrob, but she is definitely one of his fans. Yung boyfriend siguro pag mga 20 plus na ako, o 25,” she said.
Even in Annaliza, Andrea said she believes it is not yet time for her to have a love team partner even with co-actors like Bugoy Carino and Nathaniel Britt. “Lagi kaming nag-aasaran eh. Wala munang selos selos. Bawal yun. Kaya ganun,” she explained.
The talented young star said she still enjoys studying despite a hectic taping schedule.
Just like any kid, Andrea still enjoys playing dress up just for fun even if she is already a professional actor. Kunyari yung dagat yung mga kumot,” she said.
With her earnings, Andrea admitted she has been able to buy some things for her and her family. Condo lang muna,” she shared.
Just like her onscreen character, Andrea said she is also a loving and obedient daughter. To her young fans she hopes to influence to become good children as well. “Sana maging mabait sila at masunurin sila at maging masipag at matiyaga sila at mapagmahal gaya ni Annaliza,” she said.
