Charice admits missing her mom, younger brother
091613-Charice_Main.jpgAs early as now, international singing sensation Charice already has a clear idea of what she wants for Christmas—that is to make peace with her mother, Raquel Pempengco, with whom she had a dispute with due to her sexuality.

Notwithstanding the clash that happened months ago after she came out as a lesbian, Charice shares that things are “better than before” as far as her relationship with Mommy Raquel is concerned.

“Better than before kasi before kahit na hindi kami nagkakausap kumbaga feel na feel mo yung sobrang tension. Ngayon medyo kalma na,” said she.

With Christmas drawing to a near, Charice relates that she’s hoping “na magkaintindihan [kaming lahat], And yung [magkaroon nang] acceptance.”

It may be recalled that for the past months, Charice and her mother’s tiff has been characterized and made known to the public via separate statements of both camps. Sadly though, they never had the chance to speak face-to-face to clear the air and settle their differences even until this day.

Despite everything, Charice underscored that she would always be there for them and that she loves and misses them so much and that her family remains to be a huge part of her that despite all the praises that she’s reaping from her fans all over the globe, she says that “iba parin ang feeling kapag sa kanila ko mismo maririnig.

Addressing her Mommy Raquel and her younger brother Carl, she said, “I know they are watching right now and I just wanna say that I love you Mommy and I love you Carl and I miss you and yung mga kulitan and sana dahil sa mga nakikita niyo ngayon sana hindi na yun ang maging reason kung bakit tayo magkakahiwalay because you know this shouldn’t be the reason ‘cause I know kung ano yung love na meron sa family natin.

Meanwhile, the Chapter 10 singer, whose album was released early this month, likewise answered questions about the love of her life, former The X Factor Philippines finalist, Alyssa Quijano.

Apparently the couple are set to celebrate their first year anniversary soon and when asked for the best part of their one year relationship, Charice happily shared that it would have to be the time when they officially became a couple.

"Nung day na naging kami, dream come true 'yun sa akin. Pinaka the best 'yun sa akin dahil first time kong naipaglaban nang sobra yung taong mahal ko, gusto ko ring pasalamatan siya kasi binigyan niya ako ng strength na pagdaanan yung mga pinagdaanan ko,” said she.

Rumor has it that Charice was planning to marry Alyssa abroad, to this, the young singer openly replied that she would do it “in the future” saying that “Ako malinaw sa akin, nakikita ko siya sa future ko. Di ko masasabing matagal pa. [Basta sa akin] siya na talaga."

Catch Charice and Aiza Seguerra’s first ever concert together called "The Power of Two: The Unbreakable Tour" at the Araneta Coliseum on September 28.
