Despite this claim though, the public’s curiosity was piqued of late after a photo of the actress seemingly cozying with a foreigner, particularly a “Brazilian,” made rounds online, a subject which the actress just laughed at.
“Ano ba yang Brazilian na yan? Nakakatawa,” she quipped.
“Unang una hindi siya Brazilian. Ano siya Mexican-Hawaiian and friend ko yun. And boss yun,” she further clarified.
Ai Ai revealed that the said man whom she had a “selfie” with, the colloquial term for a self-portrait online, is the manager for international expansion of the new brand that she’s been endorsing and that he’s not courting her.
“So he’s a corporate friend,” she stressed adding that, she’s not yet ready to be in a relationship anew.
The actress-comedienne, who has had a tough year after marrying her then boyfriend Jed last April in Las Vegas and then separating just a couple of weeks later allegedly due to physical abuse, was positive in sharing that things are better now in her life.
“Oo tapos na. Ang title na ngayon ng ginagawa natin ay moving forward,” she said brightly. While she cannot disclose much details about the legalities of her separation with Jed, Ai Ai noted that it is “okay” and that “yung divorce nalang.”
Meanwhile, according to a recent ABS-CBN News report, the 48-year-old Kapamilya star who’s known for her unbendable faith recently hosted a mass at Ayala Heights, Quezon City in honor of the Virgin Mary’s birthday last September 8. According to her the mass has been her “panata” for five years now.
“Ministry ko. Dito ako nilaan ni mama mary. Marami akong plano para sa mga babaeng naging kagaya ko. Sa mga batang wala namang pera para maituwid yung landas nila kailangan talaga ng tulong,” shared Ai Ai.
After all that she’s been through lately, Ai Ai no longer wishes to find another man. Her lone wish though is for her three children who are currently in the US to be healthy, especially Niccolo who recently had a lung problem.
