Bangs Garcia says Lauriana is her toughest role to date

The actress remarked that it’s her toughest role to date. “My role is very difficult physically, emotionally, and psychologically. I play the battered mistress. I have many scenes where I have to be emotional.<i> Direk</i> Mel Chiongco wanted a different attack. He didn’t want me to just cry or scream. Psychologically, you’d feel the hardships suffered by the character of Lauriana because she was tortured,” she shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress also had to do sexy scenes in the movie. When asked if she made some limitations on doing such scenes, she relayed, “I will leave it as a surprise <i>basta ang masasabi ko lang ay ginawa ko ang lahat na hiningi sa akin ng direktor </i>and I went as far as I can and <i>bahala na kayong mag</i>-judge when you watch the movie.”</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress was praised by Direk Mel, saying that he was very pleased and very happy with Bangs’s performance. “She’s not only beautiful and sexy but also acts very well. She nailed the character, she was very sensual,” the director said. Being complimented by the director himself, Bangs said she feels very flattered. “<i>Sobrang nakakatunaw, sobrang </i>surreal for me<i> kasi siguro lahat ng artista pangarap na mabigyan sila ng papuri ng kanilang direktor</i> so it is like a dream come true.”</div><div><br/></div><div>More than anything, Bangs said that the movie is about women empowerment and anyone who would watch it would learn essential lessons. “<i>Maganda siya pero hindi lang siya naka</i>-focus <i>sa amin</i>, it’s not just about being sexy, it’s about the whole film. She said she dreams of being paired with Piolo Pascual. “<i>Si </i>Piolo<i> kasi napakagwapo niya at napakagaling niyang umarte</i>,” she remarked. </div>
