Andi Eigenmann says 'Momzillas' is an opportunity to showcase what she can offer as an actor

The actress shared that she was ecstatic when she first learned that she was part of the film since she saw it as a chance to showcase what she can offer more as an actor. “I was very excited when I knew that I got the part, first time ko nga pong mag comedy and <i>natuwa nga po ako</i> to accept this. <i>Gusto ko po talaga</i> to accept this because it would be an opportunity for me to show what I can do,” she said. According to the actress, landing the role has given her the chance to expand her knowledge on her craft. “[It’s also an opportunity] for me to widen <i>ko ‘yung kaalaman ko at ‘yung kakayanan ko pagdating sa pag arte.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>But the actress relayed that it was really challenging, not only because it’s her first comedy film, but also because she’s starring with two experienced and award-winning actresses, Maricel Soriano and Eugene Domingo. “Of course I have to go through a lot of challenges because first of all I’m working with the diamond star and Eugene Domingo who were such amazing actors especially in comedy <i>pa</i>.” She said that she had to do major preparations for the movie, “I had to really study my script well and really know what I’m doing and really put my best foot forward.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Nonetheless, Andi enjoyed working with the whole <i>Momzillas</i> team. “But at the same time <i>naging magaan</i> <i>din </i>because I’m working with these people<i> na</i> so good and so professional and who were so nice in general and they really helped me and guided me all throughout especially <i>direk</i> Wenn (Deramas).”</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress shared that Maricel gave her a lot of advice about acting and about life as a whole. She said she hopes to achieve the same credibility that the diamond star has attained. “<i>Ate</i> Maria gave me a lot [of advice] because she would always talk to me about what her career and what her life was like when she was my age and she always tell me and how it was like before.” She added, “My parents were also in the industry at the time that she was here and I understand like how it was, so I would just really like to maintain the prestige and the credibility of the actors from before and stay professional and to always to take my job seriously and at the same time enjoy it.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Would she want to do a comedic role again? “Yes I would want to try again because it’s my first time [with<i> Momzillas</i>]. It was hard and I can’t say <i>na </i>I really did a good job because it was my first time so I would like to get another opportunity to do it and to just show<i> na</i> I can do it,” she commented.</div><div><br/></div>
