“Pumunta lang ako doon [sa restaurant] and it was a nice day, relaxing.
I’ll announce [if I’ll get married na] but it’s not anytime soon,” she said via
a taped interview with "The Buzz" aired on August 4.
The issue came right on the heels after the actress posted a photo of an
unknown woman whose face was covered by what appeared to be a veil, signing what
seems to be a document.
What added fire to the speculation, was Heart's caption which read: "I will
never forget today."
Inasmuch as she loves the idea of settling down, Heart explained that she
wasn't the woman in the photo. According to her that was actually the owner of
the famed restaurant, Sonyas Garden.
“Pumunta lang ako doon [sa restaurant nung may-ari] and it was a nice day,
relaxing. And pinirmahan lang niya ['yung owner] 'yung book," said she.
The 28-year-old actress continued, "I’ll announce [if I’ll get married] but
it’s not anytime soon."
Heart explained that, at this point in her life, marriage remains to be a
far-fetched idea because she has yet to experience and discover a lot more
things about life as an independent woman.
“Ayaw ko pa. I mean it’s there, the idea is nice and wonderful. But I still
need a lot of time to do the things that I want to do.
"You cannot turn back time. I have yet to discover things and go on
adventures pa now that I am independent,” she said.
Recall that the couple's relationship only became public October last year
via Sen. Chiz's admission.
After his admission, the couple had to weather a misunderstanding between
Heart and her parents who came public with their disapproval for the Senator
last March.
According to the actress, all is well now though between her and her
father, Reynaldo Ongpauco.
“Yes, my dad and I are okay. As much as I want to share what happened or
what it is now, I want to do a total opposite of what happened months ago and
not so much talk about it,” she said.
