Julia Montes on finding love: 'Magbubukas ang puso pag natuto kang magpatawad'

090113-Julia_Main.jpgCurrently starring in the drama series Muling Buksan Ang Puso on Primetime Bida, Julia Montes said she has learned to deal with the pressure of coming up with another successful series after being part of hit Kapamilya dramas like Walang Hanggan and Mara Clara. “Siyempre hindi talaga maiiwasan ma-pressure after nung success na nangyari. Siyempre masasabi ko na refreshing ito for me kasi bago na namang character, bagong atake. I can say na light yung character ko dito na ibang iba kay Katerina,” she admitted.

In the series, Julia gets paired with Enrique Gil and Enchong Dee, who are both younger than her Walang Hanggan co-star Coco Martin. Julia admitted she misses working with Coco with whom she has built a good working relationship. This time, siguro kaming tatlo sabay sabay kaming ginu-groom, pinu-push ng show, sabay sabay kaming nagpapakita ng kanya-kanyang talent. In a way, magkaka-age bracket kami na sabay sabay natututo. Magkaibang magkaiba yung love team,” she explained.

Off screen, Julia said there is no issue working with Enchong with whom she reportedly broke up with earlier this year. I can say na naging way rin ito so naging positive yung outcome ng Muling Buksan ang Puso for both of us kasi naging okay kami,” she admitted.

Despite all that has happened in her personal life, Julia said she is not afraid to say she is still open to love. “Siguro magsasara ang puso kapag hindi nagpatawad. Magbubukas ang puso pag natuto kang magpatawad,” she explained.

When it comes to the possibility of rekindling a romance with Enchong, Julia said she wants to keep things platonic between them. “Gaya ng sabi niya okay kasi yung friendship namin ngayon and I can say na ang friendship relationship hindi nag-be-break at hindi nasisira so mas okay na mas patatagin namin yung pagiging magkaibigan namin at okay na yun.  Friendship can last forever so papasukan pa namin ng ibang aspect ng sa buhay namin pareho, mas magiging kumplikado, mas magiging hassle for the both of us kesa sa friendship namin ngayon na ang iintindihin na lang namn yung pagiging magkaibigan namin, it can last forever so ayun,” she said.

When it comes to doing kissing scenes, Julia said she is ready if ever the scene calls for it. Pero I said na if ever hindi naman kailangan then I can say no. If super super kailangan, I can say yes,” she admitted.

Apart from Enrique and Enchong, Julia said she is also happy working with the veteran members of their cast. And sila Miss Pilar Pilapil at Mister Dante Rivero first time ko rin makatrabaho. Napapanuod ko lang sila dati so ngayon nakakatrabaho ko na sila I feel super honored and happy,” she shared.

Despite being assigned to do more mature roles than her good friend Kathryn Bernardo, Julia said there is definitely no jealousy between them. “First naman talaga, I am one year older kay Kath and physically, pag titingnan talaga kami, mas matanda talaga ako tingnan at aminado ako dun. Kasi ako pag naayusan, na-make-up-an, nag-iiba talaga itsura ko,” she said.
