Quite a far cry from the distressed Claudine Barretto that faced the media last week, the controversial actress bravely shot back against Randy Santiago, the brother of her estranged husband Raymart Santiago, who belied all her accusations against his brother.
Last week, Randy gave his two cents on a tab report about the worsening legal battle of his younger brother against Claudine commenting that he was "disappointed" with the young Barretto as she was close to their family.
In a separate interview with ABS-CBN, Randy noted that "Truth will prevail siyempre. Alam naman nating hindi nasaktan oh anu man."
He even added, "Wala naman siyang record na nanakit. Hindi naman niya magagawa yun."
A visibly miffed Claudine, via a taped interview aired on The Buzz on Sunday, accused the Santiago's of bullying her.
"Ako rin nagugulat sa mga pahayag nila. Mga lalaki sila babae ako at pakiramdam ko pinagtutulungan nila ako. They're bullies and andami nilang sinasabi," she fired back.
Claudine maintained her stand of suffering abuse from Raymart claiming that the Santiagos would never have a true idea of what's going on in their household because "Unang una hindi naman sila nakatira sa bahay ko. Pangalawa alam nila. May mga alam sila. At pangatlo, wag silang maghugas kamay dahil sa loob mismo ng pamamahay nila may nangyayari."
Claudine even sharply cited that she is not out to please Randy.
"So kung disappointed siya, wala akong pakielam. And i'm not out to please him. Kay Kuya Randy, stop bullying me," Claudine underscored.
She even claimed that she is willing to see her intensifying legal battle against Raymart through amid reported threats from Santiagos of revealing her darkest secrets.
"Hanggang maprotektahan ko yung mga anak ko. Hanggang sa mawala ang takot nila. Hanggang sa makita kong safe ang environment nila. Hindi madali yung pinagdadaanan nila," she maintained.
She added, "Kung ano man ang pinapanakot niya na sasabihin niyo tungkol sakin, go ahead, I dare you dahil wala naman akong hindi aaminin. Pero aminin niyo rin kung ano ang pinaggagagawa niyo."
According to Claudine's counsel Atty. Ferdinand Topacio they would be filing more cases against Raymart in the coming weeks.
