When typhoon Maring and the monsoon that came with it wreaked havoc during the past days in Luzon, a handful of celebs made it a point to spare some of their time to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Presidential sister and “KrisTV” host Kris Aquino was able to join relief operations in four areas, namely Taguig, Valenzuela, Greater Fairview in Quezon City, and Biñan in Laguna.
She contributed items for relief goods and even joined the actual distribution of the bags and some hot meals for the typhoon victims together with Chef Florabel Co-Yatco.

“Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” lead star Kim Chiu on the other hand went to Pateros in Taguig to assist in the distribution of packed meals.
Chiu noted on her Instagram account the satisfaction she felt upon seeing the smile on the faces of those displaced by the flood. She likewise lauded how Filipino spirit becomes “waterproof” in times of calamities.

The “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala” cast particularly Judy Ann Santos, KC Concepcion, Sam Milby, and John Estrada on the other hand has proven that their teamwork transcends their top-rating show as they all gathered at the Sagip Kapamilya headquarters to help pack and distribute blankets to the typhoon victims.
