Sam Concepcion on what he appreciates most about Jasmine Curtis: 'She's very dedicated to her craft

<div><img src='' alt='081613-sam_main.jpg' align='left' border='0' height='290' width='305'>If there’s one thing that Sam Concepcion appreciates most about his rumored girlfriend Jasmine Curtis, it would be the actress’ work ethic. “She’s very hard working, she’s very dedicated to her craft,<i> kaya</i> she’s starting in a very good position,” he remarked in an interview with <a href=''>Push.com.ph</a>.</div><div><br/></div><div>Sam said he is very happy for Jasmine who won the Best Supporting Actress award in the recently concluded Cinemalaya Film Festival. He stated that the actress deserves the title for her superb performance in the Transit movie. “I saw Transit and it was no surprise to me because I really think that Transit was very good and she deserves the best supporting actress title and <i>hindi naman basta-basta ibibigay ng</i> Cinemalaya. She really deserves it,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>When asked about the real score between them, Sam remained mum on the matter. He briefly commented, “<i>Basta ‘yun na ‘yun,</i> what they see is what they get.” If given the chance, Sam would love to work with Jasmine in the future. “<i>Oo</i>, yes of course. <i>Lagi kong sinasabi</i> if given the chance, I would never say no to work.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Is there a pressure on his part knowing that Jasmine is Anne Curtis’s sister? “Well you know, in some way I’m intimidated by everybody especially the people that are very established in the business but in a personal level, I react to it in a way that is personal as well so I’m just being myself and relate to people well,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Sam said he plans to join Cinemalaya next year. “I plan to land a role maybe next year in Cinemalaya <i>kasi alam mo ‘yun</i>, to do acting roles, I just really feel like it will really be a real challenge.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Sam was spotted with Jasmine during the red carpet premier of <i>Ekstra</i> last August 13, 2013 in SM Megamall. Sam remarked that it would be a dream come true to work with Vilma Santos in the future. “I would like to work with Vilma Santos in my lifetime, hopefully, if I will be privileged enough.” Sam said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The actor relayed that he was very happy to have watched the movie about the bit players. “I enjoyed it thoroughly. And it’s a really good film about what really happens in the industry. It’s a good movie to tell the story of all the extras and what they go through because they really go through a lot,” he commented.</div><div><br/></div>
