Kaye Abad says she does not have a sex video: 'Okay ako, confident ako'

<div><img src='' alt='081713-Kaye_Main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>After the recent sex video scandal involving her ex-boyfriend Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda and Neri Naig, Annaliza actress Kaye Abad said she approaches the issue the same way she has handled controversies over the years. “<i>Una, may mga kaibigan din akong</i> reporters and <i>nangako kasi ako na</i> never <i>akong mag-co</i>-comment about it. Even before <i>sa mga </i>issues <i>ko</i>, I never commented <i>sa mga </i>controversies s<i>a akin lalo na kung hindi ako dawit, kung hindi ako</i> involved. <i>Para sa akin, respeto na lang din dun sa dalawa na kung sila hindi nagsasalita, ba't ako magsasalita?</i>” she explained during the <i>Annaliza</i> cast pictorial held last August 15 inside ABS-CBN.</div><div><br/></div><div>Although the talented actress said she is not surprised at the numerous requests for her reaction regarding the scandal, she said she will never issue a comment reacting on the issue. “<i>Hindi. Kasi naging kami eh</i> [<i>kaya may nagtatanong</i>]. <i>Kumbaga naging parte ako ng buhay niya so hindi mo maiiwasan yung ganun</i>,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Because of Chito's claim that his hard drive was stolen from his home, many speculate if there would be a similar video of him and Kaye performing intimate acts as well. The 31-year-old actress said there is no chance she would ever be involved in a sex video scandal although she joked around with the press when asked about the possibility of a secret sex tape. “<i>Baka! Baka hindi, baka oo</i> (laughs). <i>Okay ako</i>, confident <i>ako. Walang</i> video,” she confirmed.</div><div><br/></div><div>Currently playing the role of bad girl Stella in Annaliza, Kaye said playing a kontrabida can sometimes take a toll on her emotionally. “<i>Hanggang gayon</i> drained <i>na</i> drained <i>ako </i>(laughs). <i>Hanggang ngayon. Hindi naman ako masungit sa mga tao pero yun na yung</i> character <i>ko, hindi ko na mabitawan kaya nakakapagod pa rin,</i>” she admitted.</div><div><br/></div><div>Kaye said her family is what helps her de-stress after a long day on the set. “<i>Pag uwi ko sa bahay andun sila lahat. Mga pamangkin ko, kapatid ko, mommy at daddy ko, andun silang lahat. Bumabalik na ako sa</i> normal<i> pag pinapasyal ko sila sa</i> mall, <i>ita-</i>Timezone <i>ko. Okay na ako ulit, kumbaga ako na ulit si </i>Kaye,<i> ganyan. Hindi na ako si</i> Stella (laughs),” she shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>After the show reached a high national rating of 25.4% last August 12, Kaye said she hopes viewers will stay tuned to watch more dramatic turns in the story. The talented actress said she is lucky that fans now do not take things too personally. “<i>Masaya ako kasi mataas yun </i>ratings<i> namin. At saka nakaktuwa kasi kahit na kontrabida ako, wala pa naman akong na-e-</i>encounter <i>na galit na galit sila sa akin. Meron mang lumalapit sinasabi lang, 'Alam mo naiinis yung kapatid ko sa iyo or naiinis na yung mommy ko sa iyo,' pero hindi yung</i> to a point <i>na naku-kuwento ng ibang kontrabida na babatuhin sila or magagalit talaga sila.</i> Somehow <i>naiintindihan nila na trabaho yung ginagawa ko and hindi naman ako nag-</i>start <i>as kontrabida talaga</i> so I guess somehow <i>alam nila na hindi naman ganun si </i>Kaye, <i>trabaho lang niya yan</i>,” she added.</div><div><br/></div><div>In upcoming episodes, Kaye revealed her character will become even more challenging to portray. “<i>Alam mo nakakatawa siya</i>, <i>nakakatawa ang mangyayari talaga</i>. <i>Hindi ko alam kung puwede kong sabihin pero malala si </i>Stella, <i>malala siya. Minsan pag ina-arte ko siya natatawa na ako, para na akong baliw</i> (laughs),” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The former teen actress also gave a message for the younger viewers of their show. <i>“Sa mga batang nanunuod, okay na muna ang makikipagkaibigan</i> (laughs). Okay<i> lang kiligin, pero pag-aaral muna</i> (laughs). <i>Okay lang magka-inspirasyon sa </i>school <i>para ma</i>-excite<i> pumasok pero yun lang muna. Mag-aral mabuti.
