Gerald Anderson talks about filming his first love scene

<div><img src='' alt='081613-gerald_main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>In the action drama movie <i>On The Job</i>, Gerald Anderson got to experience filming a love scene for the very first time with newcomer Dawn Balagot. The 24-year old Fil-Am actor said he is happy with the results of eight hours of work to perfect the scene under <i>On The Job</i> director Erik Matti. “<i>Ang daming</i> shots, <i>iba-ibang</i> shots. <i>Hindi ko alam na ganun pala yun.</i> First time<i> ko maka</i>-experience <i>ng ganun</i>. First time <i>ko gumawa ng ganung klaseng</i> love scene which was very beautiful at very classy <i>nung napanuod namin. Ang ganda nung ginawa ni direk</i>,” he admitted during the <i>On The Job</i> blogcon held last August 13 inside ABS-CBN.</div><div><br/></div><div>Even after filming the intimate scene, Gerald admitted that he still felt shy with his co-star Dawn who hails from Bacolod. “<i>Kahit</i> after <i>nung</i> love scene<i> medyo nakakailang kasi</i> it was her second day <i>pa lang sa </i>shoot, <i>yun na agad ang eksena naming </i>so <i>kahit ako</i>, at the end of the day<i> napaka</i>-professional <i>ni</i> Dawn, <i>napakagaling</i> and <i>isa siya sa mga dapat abangan sa</i> movie. <i>Nakakagulat lang kasi sa pangalawang araw pa lang namin </i>love scene<i> na agad </i>(laughs),” he shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>Gerald said he tried his best to establish a good working relationship with Dawn. “<i>Sinisigurado ko lang na kumportable siya kasi sabihin natin na </i>mainstream actor <i>ako at siya nagsisimula pa lang</i>, at the end of the day <i>andudun kami bilang</i> actors<i> lang</i>, to make the movie good <i>para pagandahin yung eksena</i>,” he added.</div><div><br/></div><div>Gerald shared that his love scene is not an issue when it comes to his relationship with Maja Salvador. “<i>Siyempre</i> at the end of the day actors<i> pa rin kami </i>and professional,” he said. The talented actor also added that even though he has graduated to more mature roles, it does not mean he will always agree to do intimate scenes in his succeeding projects. “Oh no, <i>hindi naman porke’t ginawa ko yun eh bawat</i> project <i>gagawin ko yun eh napaka-importante din ng</i> love<i> na yun</i> in the movie so s<i>iyempre gagawin ko kung kailangan ng </i>movie <i>pero siyempre hindi naman bawat</i> movie<i> may ganun</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Gerald said he considers shooting a love scene to be more difficult than doing action sequences. “<i>Ang</i> love scene <i>napakahirap talaga kasi siyempre yung normal na tao kapag</i> love scene or<i> yung ginagawa niyo</i> with your special someone gusto<i> niyo</i> private, <i>kayo lang dalawa. </i>So <i>ang hirap hirap </i>but it was a romantic and beautiful scene,” he admitted.</div><div><br/></div><div>Apart from the movie, Gerald is also busy shooting for the Primetime Bida series<i> Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin</i>. He said he is lucky to have projects that enable him to do action and drama at the same time. “<i>Sobra,</i> as I said<i> kokonti lang sa amin yung nag-a</i>-action at drama so <i>napakaganda ng</i> experience <i>na kaya kong ipaghalo ang </i>action at drama,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The Zambales born talent said he is excited to for his fans to see how unique his current movie is. “<i>Sobrang iba siya kasi ayaw naming i</i>-lead on<i> yung</i> audience <i>na sobrang</i> action film <i>lang dahil napakaganda ng kuwento. Yung dapat abangan is yung kuwento at yung bawat</i> character<i> namin, yung istorya.
